Screws are fasteners characterized by their external threads that enable them to be driven into materials. In the waste industry, we use screws in equipment assembly, maintenance and repair, and securing panels and covers. Screws are used to assembly components like compactors, shredders, and conveyors. Their thread design provides a strong grip that helps to ensure parts remain securely attached under heavy vibration. During routine maintenance worn down screws are replaced. The securing of panels and covers with screws allows for easy access to maintenance panels.
