Compactors use motors to help distribute electrical power throughout equipment. They simply convert electrical energy into mechanical action, this allowing the compactor to condense waste within. They are available in many variations and sizes, as not every compactor is built the same. Wastebuilt® carries motors that distribute as little as three horse power all the way up to 20 horse power. You can also find some accessories such as retro fit kits to help properly install your motor as well. Motors are turned on once the “start” button is pressed on the control panel of the compactor. The motor will remain on until the compactor finishes packing down the waste. When the compactor is functioning, it is important to never reach into or touch the waste. It is extremely dangerous. All motors are tested and vetted by Wastebuilt® to ensure they are high-quality and reliable. That way, you know you’re ordering the most consistent motors available in the industry.
