Automated Side Loader Arm Refurbishment Program

Wastebuilt’s ASL arm refurbishment program is a cost-effective solution for extending the useful life of ASL arms for automated collection fleets. Wastebuilt refurbishes most makes and models of automated side-loader (ASL) arms, including Heil, Labrie, McNeilus and others, which can help minimize truck downtime by providing refurbished drop-in replacements.

Refurbishment Program Benefits

  • Fast turnaround, reduced downtime
  • Substantial savings versus buying new
  • OEM quality replacement parts are used throughout the process
  • Wastebuilt’s limited warranty meets or exceeds competitors’ new offerings

How Does The Refurbishment Program Work?

  • For ASL Arm refurbishment, call us 855-767-8536
  • Simply pay for the replacement arm, which includes a $4,500* core fee, and shipping, and we’ll deliver your replacement arm in a custom cradle that you will use to send back your worn arm for inspection
  • We’ll let you know if we can refurbish your arm. If we can, we’ll refund the core fee and get to work
*Core charges only apply if you don’t return the custom cradle or if your core doesn’t qualify for refurbishment.

Does My ASL Arm Qualify for Refurbishment?

Wastebuilt performs an inspection of each arm returned for refurbishment eligibility. Arms that have all components, and no missing or broken parts, can typically be refurbished.
